One month shy of the 3rd birthday of these precious cuties, Dazzle becomes a new mother of 6 girls & 3 boys and sister Willow becomes an auntie ... how time flies ;o)

Labor started about 7:30'ish with water braking and about 6 hours later, there were 9 new SunKissed additions ... several were "Breech" births (tail first) but Dazzle was a real trooper and warmed-up to this new "mother thing".

December is Here with Plenty of Happenings ;o)

Sutter had an awesome last track!

Tracking season has been replaced by 20 degree days and then dustings of snow that melted in 50 degree days ... windy days have dropped branches along our hiking path and the girls have now dawned their hunting vests for the season ... it's firewood season!

OK, we're ready for a hike!

Our "first & favorite" lil' camper has become a Show Champion and has returned to Camp Cedar for a brief visit before she moves on to motherhood ... we've missed you Margo ;o)

Sutter has started running in the Winter Agility League in Vermont for the second year ... she's impressively demonstrating more "attention" and "self-control" ... completing the courses and making mom very proud (and it's only taken 10 yrs) ... it runs through February, so photos will follow later ;o)

Next weekend we'll be having our last Tracking session of the year, followed by a Brunch with all the teams (no Tracking in winter!)

This month also celebrates the 17th wonderful year of home ownership ... a cozy warm log home, a pond and 14 wonderful acres (and the projects that go with it) ... all shared with wonderful Golden girls and visiting "campers" ;o)

With a flood of pleasant memories of our late Golden pup "Lyric" at her first Conformation Show in northern Vermont a few years back, plans to make the same memories with "baby" Emma were under way ... Emma made the "Puppy Sweepstakes" group (up to 18 months) by just 2 days! Gotta do it!!!

• make the on-line entry for the 2-day weekend (6 classes)
• make a grooming session with Aunty Kara
• make a "what-to-bring" checklist
• confirm motel shared with Golden friends
• set the GPS for 3hr drive to Essex Junction Vermont

Dispite a little rain, the weekend ended with sunshine for the drive home, time was spent with "Golden" friends, and 6 proud ribbons were treasured ... another chapter of Golden Embers memories ;o)

What's the next adventure for the Golden Girls...more fun for sure!
