On the way to Agility class, we stopped at 2 Pet Stores, but Willow didn't choose any toy or chewie ... she just enjoyed snooping around and visiting ... guess 1:1 time was just enough ;o)

HAPPY 15th WEEK BIRTHDAY Mya ;o)

... and what a day it was! The day started with 3" light fluffy snow that could be driven over to get to Church ... this week Mya graced the front page of the Church bulletin  (it was a "Kodak" moment for sure!) and after Church there were so many "cute/adorable" comments that proved that the love of a sweet pup can bring folks together!

;o)

It seemed like nothing would taste better on a cold windy day with snow being whipped all around, than a small "Ham & Pinapple" pizza to share ... in error a large pie was made at no extra cost and the girls were thrilled ... so we celebrated Mya's 15 week birthday enjoying pizza by the cozy wood fire, followed by Mya picking just where would be the coziest place for a "naptime" afternoon!!!

"Come on ... let's have another piece!!!"
"Yupppp ... we ate the whole thing!"
(truthfully, 4 pieces went into the freezer)

... with Sutter!
...or in "OUR" Recliner!!!

NOW on to the 4 month birthday...

Week 14 - Mya Starts Puppy Kindergarten

Sutter had her 3rd month session of her Vermont winter Agility league (MPAL) and during her first run on course, she suddenly made an unexpected detour to "visit" one of the ring crew on the sidelines (an old habit that she hasn't done in a couple of years) ... but we got back on course and finished in fine style ... Sutter, you always have an unexpected surprise!
"Mom needs a  CHILL PILL"
(Sutter)
Then we zoomed right off driving 30 minutes down the highway to Mya's first Puppy K class ... only 3 puppies on week one (Collie, Australian Shephard and Golden Retriever) ... some play, "name recognition" exercise, "sit" & "down" exercise and "leave-it" game
(Brag: Mya aced every exercise!!!)

Let's Hike Before the Cold Snap Ahead ;o)

Rain from increased temperatures has left little snow and some ice in spots, so while the temps were above zero, we took the advantage for a wonderful hike ... Mya experienced her first water (Burrrr!) crossing on her own and without any coaxing ... Hurray, looks like we have another "water dog" ... bring on Spring and the pond's water sports ;o)

Looking & Questioning in her mind!
Testing the water with one foot in!

Committed and on her way across ;o)
Made it ... Yipeeeee!!!
(she drags a long leash on all walks)
