and call it a night!

Emma's First Agility Trial ;o)

On the road at 6am, temps in the 50's, sun coming up and the whole "Fur-family" goes to root Emma on in Westminster Vermont ... Height measurement with the judge at 7:15am ... Emma's classes won't be till early to mid afternoon ... time is passed visiting with competitors known over the years and offering to work the classes before Emma's first class ... the first class always brings on the human's NERVES !!!

2 classes ... 2 First place ribbons & 2 Qualifying scores!!!

(note in 2 places #3 & #5 she took a tiny detour)

The allowed "course time" on the first run was 55sec and Emma completed it in 39.18sec ... even with her 2 tiny detours!

Perfect route ... Good Girl Emma!
The allowed time to run the second course was 41sec and Emma completed it in 18.66sec ... so proud of her!

Special "Reward" trip made to Food Wagon for a yummy Hot Dog ... Emma loved it ;o)

Ohhh ... and we even won a "Worker Raffle" prize ... "Loon" T-shirt, camping pot set and big 6V flashlight ... end to a perfect day!

It's that time of year ... Start of firewood stacking!

First Cord Stacked!

Wow ... Overnight Rainfall !!!

Emma and Mya helped bail out the 3 boats after an overnight
thunderstorm and 4+ inches of welcomed rain (things were getting pretty dry) ... the pond water level which had gone down to the rocks below the dock (about 12"), is now up to the top of the dock!!!

New Box Veggie Garden ;o)

Finding a use for the old wooden picnic table ... Hummm, another small veggie garden ... need to find a spot that gets the most sun and isn't in the girls "run zone" ... tall trees and lots of ledge rule out many spots ;o)

"USE IT UP ... WEAR IT OUT ... MAKE IT DO ... OR DO WITHOUT" ... "Reduce ... Reuse ... Recycle"

10am ...most sunny spot over the day ... flowers have to move!

2pm plants transplanted by pond ... bags of enriched soil bought!

5pm ... the Inspection!!!

Break time !!!

Next comes planting ... Cukes, Squash, Tomatoes ;o)

Presto ... Done!!!
