Summer in Full Swing!

Tree canopy is full, birds are gathering Golden dog-fur for their nests, the woodpecker moms are feeding their young at the suet feeders, the Hummingbirds are at their feeder, the vegetable gardens are sprouting, mowed grass smells aromatic, beautiful flowers are blooming and new life is abundant everywhere ... our annual pair of Canada geese returned and hatched 5 adorable chicks ... in past years the family usually only stays around for 3 days, but stayed 9 days this year to let the babies feed in the shallow pond-bank waters ... wonderful photo opportunities ;o)

The wild Geese, Ducks, Frogs and Peepers have all officially ushered in Spring 2013 ... shed the Winter layers of ALL kinds ;o)
