4th of July Weekend at Golden Embers

NEXT PROJECT: Beginning July by improving the pond launch area with a "Sand Skirt" to cover the dead grass and silt/mud banking - hauling one bag at a time on the snow sled! So the 4th of July weekend begins, as God-Daughter Jess and Donald arrive  😎

Panoramic shot by Donald - Awesome!

Excellent Supervisors πŸ˜„

Decided it was easier to drop bag off pile onto sled
and pull each 60# bag down to pond!

Half of the 25 bags have been dumped!

Donald pulls dead BB bush out of pond!

Pond water is high with it's usual wildlife (Beaver and his daily sunrise & evening cruising/grazing, Otter diving /fishing, Wood Duck with 5 ducklings, 5-6 Hummingbirds at nectar feeder, Great Blue Heron fishing from pond banks, fledging Sparrows from a dead tree in pond and hatching birds all around - woodpeckers started bringing new babies to the suet feeder) ,,, everything is green, garden is coming along and June Camp session in the Memory book 😎
