Sutter at 5 Weeks

When Cedar suddenly crossed the "Rainbow Bridge", being without a dog for 3 weeks was heartbreaking ... then came word of a 5 week old Golden litter and bi-weekly visits began to a farm in Leyden Massachusetts ... little Sutter was the lightest gold color and was immediatly chosen ... this INDEPENDENT thinking girl has been a challenge and quite the "teacher" of PATIENCE! She's gone from being an "only child" to the teacher of many coming & going "Foster" pups ... today we're a family of 4 very happy Golden Retrievers that enjoy doing everything together ;o)

16 Weeks of Puppyhood or 4 Months ... the Growing Girl ;o)

Joys of following Mya's "weeks" of puppy growth & adventure have now turned into the realization that she's rapidly grown into a super sweet 4 month old, developing confidence & independence ... it's a critical period for learning, socialization and training! Mya runs to get into her van crate to go anywhere (visiting, training or play dates) ...  she's lost her first 2 teeth (top front)!

On the way to Agility class, we stopped at 2 Pet Stores, but Willow didn't choose any toy or chewie ... she just enjoyed snooping around and visiting ... guess 1:1 time was just enough ;o)

HAPPY 15th WEEK BIRTHDAY Mya ;o)

... and what a day it was! The day started with 3" light fluffy snow that could be driven over to get to Church ... this week Mya graced the front page of the Church bulletin  (it was a "Kodak" moment for sure!) and after Church there were so many "cute/adorable" comments that proved that the love of a sweet pup can bring folks together!

It seemed like nothing would taste better on a cold windy day with snow being whipped all around, than a small "Ham & Pinapple" pizza to share ... in error a large pie was made at no extra cost and the girls were thrilled ... so we celebrated Mya's 15 week birthday enjoying pizza by the cozy wood fire, followed by Mya picking just where would be the coziest place for a "naptime" afternoon!!!
