Mya's 4th Week of Canine Good Citizen Class!

Notes from the days we're not off to classes (Mya finished her 6 week Good Manners class last week):
As the "few" wild blueberries ripen (picked only 1/2 qt), the Birch leaves have started to fall ... they noticibly seem to co-ordinate this time of year over the 19yrs at the Golden Embers Homestead ... the Peach crop appears to be sparse this year (no Jam!!!) ... we've had 2 tomatoes, 2 cukes, 3 summer squash and 2 handfulls of green beans from our new gardens ...  our pair of Canada Geese have lost their only chick, presumably to the family of Red Tail Hawks, but the pair continue to enjoy relaxing about the pond and eating grass ... Mya was seen inquisitively swimming after a mother duck and her late born ducklings!

Geese (2 white dots) relaxing in the middle of the pond ;o)
Waiting for squash, cukes & tomatoes to ripen!!!
