October Came Way Too Fast

Beautiful colored leaves have started falling with the wind/rain, leaf-mowing has begun, piles of logs are calling the chainsaw, temps have ushered in cozy evening woodstove fires, storm-windows are going on slowly  🍂

Migrating flocks of wild ducks have been stopping by for a rest!

Flock of wild Wood ducks resting on fallen tree below and wild Mallard ducks congregating above!

4+ inches in the rain-gage for the month

Mya had her 7th birthday on a sleepy/rainy day, but the day after was sunny and she helped bail out the boats!

We've met some new friends at East Hill Farm Inn where we get local homemade food Take-Out every week to support a hometown local business! Meet Piper and her mom Penny who love our apple drops 🍎

October 17th - woke up to first snow and Willow thought it was a wonderful time for a roll  ⛄

The girls love to play at their Agility class 🎈

Closing out October with some Halloween fun  "Come on Mya, stop posing for the camera and PUSH!!!"
