HAPPY PEACEFUL THANKSGIVING TO ALL ...

Weather reports predicting 3-6-9" heavy snow on Thanksgiving Eve ... plenty of firewood hauled in, all Fall projects finished and the new Cub Cadet snowblower all fired-up just to become familiar with how it works! Girls are resting up!!!

November: Let It Snow ... Mya Graduates!

WAKE UP girls ... it snowed last night!!!

It's That Time of Year!

November 1st is right around the corner and the Fall projects are getting done in 50-60 degree days ...

the boats have been dragged up on the shore and the kayaks rehung in the porch
the chimney, Glenwood cook stove and pipe have been thouroughly cleaned (soot up to the elbows)
leaves mowed multiple times and spread on the flower gardens
veggie gardens composted and winter Rye planted
firewood box is full with smaller wood for "taking the chill off" as the temps drop
girls are wearing bells and orange vests as they explore their woods!

Mya's First Birthday Celebration ;o)

Dog class "Clicker Unleashed" with Ms Ann at AK9C ... teacher commented that Mya is getting better (better self control)
Visit to two Agway stores for dog food and a hunt for her choice of a birthday "gift"
Trip to Kimballs for the "party" ... today is their last open day of the season and it was mobbed!

AND MANY MORE BIRTHDAYS AHEAD... our challange going into year two: Mya is going through her second normal "FEAR IMPRINT PERIOD" (ages up to 14 months) in the form of a new fear of various size vacumn cleaner noises that weren't there before ... it is a normal occurance as hormones surge ... we'll make light of it and continue to train, play and reward for the positive things!
