Busy Doings as June Starts

2 male & 3 female Hummingbirds at the feeder, a pair of flying Blue Herron chasing each other and fishing at pond edge, our resident Beaver snacking on lush growth and cleaning up fallen dead branches in the pond to haul to the dam/spillway, annual Canada Geese pair with 5 goslings grazing grass/clover on pond bank, ? Merganser mama duck and 6 ducklings (not photo agreeable) and a wild rabbit (also not photo agreeable) - various birds are still enjoying the suet/seed feeders (awaiting arrival of first baby woodpeckers)  😎

Sunflower, Beet and Green Beans have sprouted, tomatoes are planted and about to plant Cukes, Summer & Acorn Squash plants - Pond Sump pump is in for Summer watering!

First sighting of 5 Canada Geese goslings as parents
bring them out from deep in the Marsh!

Grazing with Mom & Dad!
(you say, BUT ALL THAT POOP!!! - I go out each
am before the Golden girls and rake it up for the
veggie garden/containers)

A Beaver Snack!!!

He thinks these blueberry bushes need pruning!!!

Older Male arrived 5/6/22
(several weeks early)

Pandemic postponed the kitchen/woodstove room floor replacement of 2 years ago, it's now back in the plans:

Way Overdue for New Floor!!!

Original deteriorating flooring!

Commercial Grade Wood Laminated interlocking flooring
that I chose to compliment the log walls and
withstand Golden Retrievers (it has beautiful knots in it
and looks a bit lighter in person)!

Need this much for 13x17 floor measurement
= 240-50 sq ft!

Larry & Pete will install flooring in
September, when the girls and I will take
a "Get-Away" to Old Orchard Beach Maine!
(prefer "off season" get-away)

Flooring next to log wall!

Flooring in the sunlight!

Flooring with Golden girls!

Mya - The Best Helper  😎

Beaver Downed Tree!

Afternoon Project!

These Two are Golden 💖

Delimbing branches from dead trees across pond, from
rowboat with small handy hand chainsaw!

Our first strawberries
(we ate some before photo Ha Ha Yummy)
